Crypto Risk and the Shady Advisers.
Before i actively researched about cryptos everyday, i used tread with caution. I used to be super careful when i talked about it, worrying i might lose my credibility over it. But, then logic after logic after logic, i felt a lot better about the subject. It was not as pinching as it might have looked like before.
The first month into the research i would think to myself ‘okay this all makes sense, but what if there is more to it and people do not know, what if this is actually an Illuminati service and it all fails, failing the whole world?
Then slowly as the ecosystem and its mechanics sank into my system i became aware and i wholly realized that cryptos are not bad. They are not evil. They are not an evil genius plan. They are not a tool for oppression, they are quite the opposite of this all. They are transparent and for mass benefit.
Then during another two weeks i started understanding the philosophy behind it as key thinkers and economics PhD’s started showing up in my research claiming that this is the key to resolving all world problems. As my knowledge in blockchain, its underlying technology expanded i learnt even more and my brain swell with ideas of evolution, math, science, future and technology.
During Social Thought 101 i started wondering how the economics of cryptos changes and affects the whole human society. Then after looking in to Alan Watts and his theories on cryptos, looking in to the pop culture advances, at the effect of cryptos onto the third world and the underdeveloped countries, i soon put together a list of things that cryptos have enabled socially and globally. The best part about this thought experiment was, that as much as i covered these areas, the more they kept expanding. I soon settled for the idea that the list is endless and this is just its start, that this is the start of the endlessness.
This was similar and uncannily like internet. Internet’s definition was obviously very vague at the beginning. Its use was limited. It was not a communication, information and entertainment channel stronger than all other mediums combined like it is today.
The internet was small, tiny and useless, only blockchain has been huge, versatile and useful in exemplary ways since its first cake day.
Then i soon figured why we as a Publication are so important for this industry facing a Kobayashi Maru. Soon i was ready to give out crypto-advice. I was also telling people how to be #Gucci with no cryptos. But, all of this with a preface or a warning that hey, look be careful. A disclaimer was necessary i felt – “but I’m no financial adviser.”
And then came a point in my crypto journey where i felt that blockchain is all i have ever needed and cryptos can not be that bad as they say because hey, have you seen purse.io and po.et and CryptoKitties and Decentraland and PizzaForBitcoins?
The serious work under each one of these is no joke and white papers helped me expand my intellect way more. So i can safely say i have learn more than Game Of Thrones taught me about the world from cryptos! Oh Yes, i went there!
