The cryptocurrency market has struggled since the start of the second quarter of the year, with the bear market still striking to affect the prices of most cryptocurrencies aggressively. The market started the week trading in the red zone, shedding off gains it recorded over the weekend.
Litecoin started the week trading around $116 per coin, but it now has the potential of a bullish run after a very interesting couple of days. There is an expectation that LTC would embark on a bullish run once it breaks past the $122 resistance which has been reached.
Litecoin to Be Supported By Reddit Soon
Reddit, which is the largest cryptocurrency and tech enthusiast community, three months ago, disabled payments using cryptocurrencies. The admins of the community revealed that payments using cryptocurrencies were disabled due to issues they faced with Coinbase’s payment platform.
The CTO of Reddit, Christopher Slowe, during an interview with Cheddar, commented that the platform is now working towards bringing back Bitcoin payments. He further added that Reddit is also working on integrating Litecoin and Ethereum once they are done upgraded the platform. Even though he didn’t give a specific timeline for the support of these cryptocurrencies, BTC, LTC, and ETH will feature on the platform once the platform is ready.
Litecoin Foundation Goes Big With PayWithLitecoin
Following the adoption of the LTC coin by Surf Air and TapJets, the LTC foundation, led by founder Charlie Lee, is going big with its PayWithLitecoin campaign. The team celebrated this milestone and launched the campaign by creating a platform, Paywithlitecoin.co that will enable the team to help people and businesses in all parts of the world accept Litecoin.

According to the foundation, the platform will make it easier for both small and large businesses all over the globe to integrate Litecoin as a means of payment for their products and services. The main goal of Lee and his foundation is to ensure that LTC coin is accepted as a means of payment in all parts of the world.
