World Wide Asset Exchange Announces Updates Regarding the Application Development Contest

The final date for the submission of a mobile-based application for WAX ExpressTrade is fast approaching as Worldwide Asset Exchange, the DLT platform that enables individuals to open their very own individual markets to sell virtual assets, announces an update to the requirements of the previously announced mobile application development contest.

The organization has announced that participants will be allowed to make not one but two submissions of their developed application owing to the fact that the development of a program as complex as this one could be an arduous task.

The final submission date hasn’t changed but the preliminarily selected 10 candidates will be allotted a period of 30 days to make whatever improvements they wish to add. All participants are still required to submit their projects by October 19, 2018, 11:59 pm EST.

Four winners will subsequently be selected from these 10 shortlisted participants among which the cash prize of $20,000 shall be distributed. The third and fourth runner-ups will be awarded $2,500 each, whereas the first and second ones will be awarded $10,000 and $5,000 respectively.

The contest requires the participants to send in the source code of their application that supports the trades of WAX ExpressTrade. Additionally the application should support an interactive and visually appealing user interface. The app should either be supported by iOS (Apple Store) or Android (Google Play Store). For those, who don’t wish their source code to be made public, an additional announcement was made which entailed that they should send in their submissions by providing a link to their source code on Twitter or through a direct message.

The official blog post of WAX regarding this can be found here.
