Blockchain technology has gone through many things. It has attracted attention, seen competition, proposed innovation, faced opposition and offered application. For determining its application, the use cases of blockchain are often looked and gathered. It’s quite evident that one of the most prominent use cases is cryptocurrency. Blockchain is the technology behind all cryptocurrencies and people consider crypto to be one of the most important blockchain use cases.
However, offerings of blockchain such as security and privacy ensure that cryptocurrencies are not the only use case of the underlying technology. To explore the possibilities that can be turned into opportunities with the help of blockchain, BlockPublisher reached out to Tracy Hazzard, an INC columnist, product launch expert and brand strategist at Hazz Design. She was inquired to suggest some use cases for blockchain so she gave her opinion:
Smart contract, supply chain management, blockchains protecting inventory buys & labor trafficking; Borsetta insuring how luxury goods are sourced & transferred; blockchains distributing funds into any currency from one payment into many small ones…meeting new ones daily.
Recently, Cherie Aimée, ranked number six on top 100 most influential women in blockchain, was found bullish on the future of blockchain. She suggested a few use cases that blockchain will be finding this year. According to her, crypto constituted the majority of use cases for blockchain. Apart from crypto, she mentioned supply chain, healthcare and many different industries as the use cases for blockchain.
Blockchain was introduced to the world about a decade ago. Since then, it has built many businesses and offered solutions to different startups. However, many people still don’t consider it to be worthy of their time or efforts as they demand more than what blockchain has successfully delivered.
