Twitter CEO Dubs Bitcoin “The Native Currency Of The Internet”, Latest Hero In The Cryptoverse?
CEO and co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey has the cryptoverse impressed by his promotion of Bitcoin’s Lightning Network.

Dorsey already has a huge fan following with over 4 million twitter followers and that number is sure to increase after he stated that not only was he a huge fan of Bitcoin but also that according to him, Bitcoin has the potential to become “the native currency of the internet.”

However, what fans are really praising him for is his participation in the promotion of Bitcoin’s new “Lighting Torch Game” that consists of participants sending and receiving money ahead in a queue. All of this is an attempt to promote the Lightning Network powered by Bitcoin.
First developed in 2015, the Lightning Network is a payment protocol that does away with Bitcoin’s issues with scalability by presenting off-chain solutions. However, the applications are not just limited to Bitcoin and can be used with other Blockchain technologies as well.
In a cryptic response to a Twitter user, Jack set off a much needed debate regarding cryptos and we are here for it!

When asked what cryptocurrency Jack was investing in by a follower, Jack responded with, “I only have bitcoin,”this then caught the attention of Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao, who responded with this below.

When further asked why he showed an interest in one particular crypo, he stated that, “Bitcoin is resilient. Bitcoin is principled. Bitcoin is native to internet ideals. And it’s a great brand.” The superstar CEO also appreciated recommendations and suggestions in the tweets, giving a thumbs up to the idea of a feature that enabled users to “tip” other users in return for tweets.
His involvement in promoting the LT game has made the network super popular with it reaching around 2,860,000 satoshis ever since he participated. The game functions by users receiving and forwarding bitcoins to friends on Twitter after adding in a little amount on their own.

The network’s official website also states that Dorsey was the most recent participant when he passed on his own torch to Lightning Labs CEO, Elizabeth Stark. Dorsey is also a key investor in the entire venture.
Which is why not everyone is impressed with his sudden and seemingly altruistic inclination towards Blockchain technology.
Calm down about Jack and Lightning, My man's just shilling his bags y'all.
Somehow when he does it he's a hero but when i do it the SEC comes after me.

Every time a celebrity or person of interest posts about blockchain and crypto a shitcoin loses its wings (and bitcoin takes a dive)
