Partying: The Crypto Style

Who said crypto kings were just a bunch of geeky guys on their computers? These people have a much fancier social life than our Hollywood celebrities. And, this group sure knows how to throw a party.

Kirby Chicas quit his job in Toronto to chase his dream of being part of the cryptocurrency revolution. Just three weeks into his new job at a start-up at Decentral he decided to throw a blowout party on to mark his company’s debut.

The party was a six-hour cruise to the Statue of Liberty and around Upper New York Bay. The co-founder of Decentral Anthony Di Iorio, 43, rented out a 210-foot party yacht Cornucopia Majesty and rolled in style.

One of the cool things about the party was the white electronic wristbands that would light up to the beats the party’s DJ was playing out. And, later two of these bands would light up after party to announce the lucky winners of a couple of $250,000 – plus Aston Martin sports cars.

The event was surely a coming-out party for the new and suddenly wealthy industry. Many different personalities made the entire scene quite diverse and inclusive – just like our cryptocurrency which knows no barriers! Dudes with neck tattoos to girls in form-fitting black dresses, all of it was there. One woman’s outfit caught our eye as she wore custom athleisure tights with a blockchain code print. And, got us like…

The elite, Di lorio, said he rented out the cruise from his own money and flew in from London with his pal, Chicane, who also happened to be the DJ of the night. The extravagant yet casual party knew no dress code; from t-shirt and jeans to suits and ties. Everyone seemed to be getting high on this rushed wealth and sense of upper-class.

Chicas was already hyped about cryptocurrencies but his day peaked when it turned out that he was one of the lucky winners who was going to take home the Aston Martin. He was the one responsible for handing out the wristbands and he just kept the initial one for himself. Imagine if he had given that too. Well, this is what we call luck now, don’t we?

As the crypto world grows, there will be much fancier parties and soon enough their gathering will be the talk of the town. Although there no doubt that their event s are already the town gossip. Unfortunately, for them, they can’t stay anonymous at parties. Whoever gets their hands dirty in these parties will be getting dirty on screen and this time, no blockchain will be there to save them. We are sure to get scoops on the personal lives of these crypto magnets to make things a little more decentralized. *wink wink* If you know what I mean.
