Recently, Netflix shared the information that it’s shares have been soaring. This initially sounds like good news because more money is being poured in so better content and a good price. But Netflix has different plans as they want to increase the cost of their subscription. I already feel sorry for my best friend who’s Netflix I enjoy.
Customers are furious, no surprises there. They even took to Twitter to voice their rage.
Netflix is raising prices again? I was already paying $14/mo for 4K content on an account I barely used. I'll probably just have to cancel and get my content elsewhere because I'm pretty sure that money could be used for better things, tbh.

Netflix is gambling that subscribers won’t leave. Previously when they wanted to remove Friends from Netflix, people went berserk over a show that ended years ago. So they know that they play a central role in the media consumption habits of millions of consumers.
The term Netflix and Chill has become iconic so they really know their value.
But for how long will all of us keep playing fools at the hands of big corporations such as these? How long till we finally realize that the exploitation comes to an end? We are living a capitalist’s wet dream!
But where does one really go if not this?
