Blockchain technology is bigger than the internet, bigger than advertising, bigger than Victoria Secrets, bigger than Elon Musk, bigger than Apple and perhaps, bigger than Miss Universe 2018.
Blockchain Technology has really shaped and taped our world in the craziest fashion, if you are not sure what blockchain entails then grab your skimmed, gluten-free, fat-free, decaf, CBD infused latte and get comfy, you are about to get 10x smarter in under two minutes.
So Blockchain in simplest terms is a way to store data and precious information like names (identity), money (digital currency), algorithms (complicated math things), chats (all kinds of them), Tinder like softwares and what not. It can be used for anything, it is good because it means the anything in question is suddenly trust worthy.
Internet trust used to be all crap, but the tech changed this fact. I can trust you and pay you directly, you can sell me your car, house or service, neither will judge, defraud or kill the other and this is the beauty of blockchain.
Miss Universe Pageant has been all the hot news this week, as people obsess over that, we over here found an exciting way that the future of the Universe’s biggest beauty pageant could be transformed.
We live in a #Metoo vs. #MakingAmericaGreatAgain moment, this brief moment in history where #BlackLivesMatter and #BrownFeminists rule the internet, our angst is purely dedicated to the discrepancies and the lies of the world of beauty pageants.
This can be used to remove the problem of nepotism (favoritism for the teacher’s pet), harassment (common for bikini fittings, rehearsals and test runs), casting couch (sex for good rankings), drama and lies.
The technology can help make the industry shit free. The industry can go back from being uncomfortable, obnoxious, rodent-like competitive, disgusting and anorexic to healthy and sexy.
All the disgust around it can convert into genuine love for the models, giving them new beauty ideals and help them enjoy more sustainable careers.
Suddenly, this could mean that sex-free entry and healthy lively legendary careers in modelling can become a thing. A recent interview in TIME magazine featured the crap that goes on in Victoria Secrets Castings and that plus all the disgusting, awful things that come up in news and on social media everyday can be stopped if this is paid attention to.
Perhaps, businessmen will never aim to make it safe for women and that is the sad reality of the so called amazing times that we live in. Yay! to post-modernism and third wave feminism! Yay! to blockchain!
