The discussion around the moral implications of technology are rising. People have yet another thing to talk about. They can now exhibit their specialty in a subject that has gained political, social and popular attention. Also known as the hot topic (Read as cryptos) of every town.
People may dislike socializing with others. People may like engaging in social activity. But, either way they love arguing. Arguments ceased to exist for a while. Sure, there was a big debate on Feminism, Sexual Orientation and Rights, The liberality of Islamic states, Islamophobia, A move away from Monogamy, likes for secularization and the implications of child usage of smartphone and other over stimulating technology.
Social spheres love talking. Talk is the glue that binds the whole social fabric together in a fashionable manner. It maintains the freshness of relationships and negotiations. Without talk there is no creation of newer desirability patterns. Whether the talk or the nuances be exchanged on online platforms or live and the traditional, good old face to face way. The more people talk about stuff, the more ideas refine. Opinions get shaped. And ideas get applied.
The talk on crypto is making more and more people realize that it is a genuine medium and perhaps here for the long. It is helping in breaking stereotypes and social calluses around the idea of internet based things. People are scared of things they do not know of, says Magneto. He is right. People do. But, they fear reduces as they double check with their partners, family, friends, coworkers and what not. Of course not everybody has to be interested in buying some cryptos. But, logic based rapid fires do incite a lot of fun in an ordinary evening.
This changes the social fabric by allowing people to express their opinions, their ideas, their values without seeming vulnerable, sensitive and without revealing too much about themselves. It is an easy subject to discuss. The listeners do not judge you. They do not show intolerance. Talking about LGBTQ rights with a very very monolithic uncle or aunt may be uncomfortable and may end in intolerance of theirs or yours to either one of the opinions being talked about. While talking about cryptos really does not hurt anybody. It does not make you feel like you are giving away a piece of you.
People are talking about change, sharing opinions without being judged. This is happening after a long time. Things are fresh and exciting. The evolution of thought is aided by this move. But, self identity is not harmed or tarnished while doing so. It is not as personal. It is a very public subject. And thence, changing societies.
