On November 15, Europe’s first incubator cum accelerator platform Chain Accelerator announced of its newest operation center opening in Malta, at the rosy setting of the chiliZ Blockchain Campus. With this partnership, the French based Chain Accelerator will be able to use the facilities of the Malta Campus and in the same way, Blockchain Campus clients would be able to access Chain Accelerator facilities when in Paris.
ChiliZ Communications Manager shared Alexandre Dreyfus’ comments with BlockPublisher, as the chiliZ CEO stated of his excitement on the newly found partnership. He said:
We are very excited to be partnering with Chain Accelerator, to develop the international network of the chiliZ Blockchain Campus. As a European gateway for Asian organisations in particular, the partnership marks the first step in our plans build a collaborative network with blockchain incubators all over the world.
Chain Accelerator’s induction comes just in sync with the core functionality of the Blockchain Campus itself. The Campus acts as an accelerator and hub to the industry and startup projects and has backing from some of the biggest stakeholders across Asia and Europe. On blockchain’s forefront, the Campus serves as an epicenter at blockchain’s pinnacle location of Malta and serves related companies in order to help the blockchain ecosystem globally.
At the Campus, several startup projects and industrial organizations have already become incumbent and are serviced as a one stop-shop, think tank and an ICO pitch centre. Its state-of-the-art facilities includes an executive floor, meeting rooms, a sky bar reception area and studio with media and live-streaming facilities. The addition of Chain Accelerator adds to the already pertinent status of Malta as the “Blockchain Island” and further enhances the Campus’ reputation as the epicenter for blockchain. Nicolas Contu, co-founder of Accelerator said:
The chiliZ Blockchain Campus is an industry hub, connecting some of the biggest players from both Asia and Europe, as well as other emerging blockchain start-ups. Malta is leading the adoption of cryptocurrencies in the EU and proposes a regulatory framework around Distributed Ledger Technology.
Chain Accelerator is the first of its kind global accelerator that is dedicated to blockchain development. The incubator supports blockchain companies and aims to make the world a more inherent place for using blockchain technology. Their newly formed office at the Blockchain Campus of Malta adds to the already housed leading crypto exchanges, media groups and service providers on the Campus, as it aims to become the European gateway for Asian organizations.
