Halloween Goals: Bitcoin-Themed Party!

Halloween is just across the corner and our inner spooky is looming the vacant street, hunting for some cryptos. Though, it wasn’t as exciting as the one we witnessed last year. More so because Bitcoin was at its all-time high price when Halloween is coming around this time and this has given the perfect reason for crypto fans to show their love.

This has been going on for a few years now, as people gain more and more awareness on the subject!

In case you missed what it was like and are looking for some costume inspiration than all aboard the THROWBACK EXPRESS.

Last year on October 31st it was Crypto Halloween, marked the day when bitcoin was its peak that year and a confirmation that Bitcoin was now part of the culture. Crypto enthusiasts took up the opportunity and decided to play a little game called… MUR – DRESS UP!!

These six memorable Halloween costumes are a perfect throwback to remind us of the state the industry was in.

Poppin Bubbles

Zooko Wilcox, inventor of Zcash seized the opportunity at the right time by dressing up as a ‘The Bitcoin Bubble’ when it peaked that year.

This anonymous hodler was a reminder for people to hold on to their cryptocurrency holdings as it continues to surge. And, luckily it is still relevant.

Playing it safe

This costume was an important reminder to keep our things safe when it comes to the crypto world. It is always good to be told again to have our private keys tucked away from the reach of malicious hackers.

Stop forking around

This is one of my favorites as it represents the concept of forking in the blockchain. I have a feeling that his fate might have turned around after causing/being part of a fork.

Take me to the moon

Look at this adorable boy dressed up as a Bitcoin Astronaut. The kid is a symbolic representation of how Bitcoin was reaching Such Great Heights – we are definitely not quoting The Postal Service here. If someone told me his smile was the reason why Bitcoin is soaring, I wouldn’t be surprised!

Gold Digger

This trick-or-treater showed up as a miner, symbolic to cryptocurrency mining pools and we aren’t definitely digging – pun intended – the pixelated digger.

This is a bonus for people looking to go all out, not just with their costumes but their decorations as well! Carve your favorite coins in pumpkins and complete your crypto themed Halloween. Click here
