Bitcoin Is Not Dancing to Fortnite’s Moves, But Why?

The Fortnite either has everyone up on their feet dancing or has everyone addicted to this game or BOTH. It is undoubtedly one of the most profitable game in history and it’s still growing.
Despite being the hottest game on the market, why hasn’t it joined the hottest technology? We’re talking about blockchain. Bringing Fortnite on blockchain could really help it up its game. It could go from being the most famous game to THE game in the history of gaming.
SO, why hasn’t this already happened? Is Fornite simply being dumb or they have logical reasons to it?
Not Safe For Dummies
We all know crypto and intelligence share a complicated relationship. Not intelligence of the technology but the human race. As fast as the human race is progressing, the dummies are also coming out at an equally fast pace. So, if Fortnite comes to blockchain then it’s a NO for dummies, sadly.
The Not-so-Easy Integration Business
Bringing blockchain on Fortnite can be a really tricky business. The current developers might have to be brought up to speed if they don’t know what goes on on a blockchain. Apart from that, it can take a lot of time and who knows, Fornite might be able to come up with something better in that course of time.
Non-Risky New Users
Though everything goes smoothly from the game developers end, who is guaranteeing the fact that the new user will be risky enough to get on board?
Igor Barinov, Tech Lead of the POA Network agrees with us.
“The main obstacle at the moment is not so much in developing in-game items, but the difficulty in onboarding new users.”
It is a Bloody Gamble
Whatever happens, no one is ensuring that blockchain will be fruitful. Though the pros are very convincing but after this merger, the game might have to start afresh. We can’t speak for everyone and there is a possibility that they might not like this at all. The whole team will just be gambling their way and that too, at this point, where they have successfully managed to build a huge empire to their name. It doesn’t seem to us that the Fortnite team is ready to take such a risky step.
Complicated Surgical Procedures
We all know blockchain will require people going through tricky steps like signing up for a wallet, understanding what kind of wallet they should get, the concept of gas and ETH, so on and so forth. The intensive course will be needed BEFORE you can play the game and I don’t think everyone’s ready for that.
According to Barinov, the success can come in if “once the onboarding process is simplified, mass adoption will quickly follow.”
Could it be that a new Fornite awaits blockchain?
