Land Registry Department of Government of Netherland will be using Blockchain Technology solutions for national real estate data which includes Land ownership, mortgage rights, and all the third party data related to the national real estate market. According to the officials at Land registry department, they are trying to understand the use case of Blockchain technology in their Land registry department, and if possible they will be adopting and totally switch over to blockchain system with next couple of years or more.
The Netherlands was also notably one of 22 EU members to recently signing a declaration to create a European Blockchain Partnership, which aims to cooperate on the implementation of “EU-wide” blockchain applications “across the Digital Single Market.”
