Crypto and Psychedelics — The New High

A message to understand the good psychedelics and cryptocurrency can bring in our lives

Psychedelics and Cryptocurrency have come together, packed into a summit named CryptoPsychedelic — a first for combining the two as-yet outlaws of the society.

The aim for this weird yet attractive event is to bring together leaders in blockchain and psychedelic science to discuss possibilities in combined research, innovation, community building, and mix traditional psychotherapies with psychedelic medicines.

Psychedelics are banned in almost all countries. They have no psychological or physiological drawback but are still banned. Rather they have been reported and proved to be helpful in treatment of depression and anxiety and in taking out several addictions. Still, they are banned. Talk about unjust laws.

Same is the case with cryptocurrency. The digital decentralization model has numerous advantages over the traditional financial structures but is banned from many countries.

This is a step that is challenging the stigma around both of these radical concepts. Hundreds die every day from self injecting Opioids but what’s banned are psychedelics that have no addictive properties. Similarly, banks gnaw away at fortunes and dissolve businesses like a hungry shark but what’s banned is a decentralized system that no one except the two parties on the table can profit from. The contradictions are clear. That’s what most shocking about this.

Psychedelics and cryptocurrency are two marginalized communities that are helping humanity to a better future but no they are being shut out. The combination of these two is more than just a move for additional support or advertisement. It’s for the message to humanity that the next big thing — psychological treatments or independent financial structures are just there for us to take.

It’s the message to understand the good psychedelics and cryptocurrency can bring in our lives. We really need to listen.

The next meet-up is on February 2, 2019 at a disclosed-to-invited-only, if anyone’s interested.
