Prepared and released in 2015 by Tomer Kantor, is available for free on YouTube. It even holds an award to its name for being the best Micro-Budget Feature at the Berlin Independent Film Festival just last year. It features many leaders and attempts to change the image that cryptocurrencies have.
The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin
One of the earliest films about the first cryptocurrency. The cast is strong as it features prominent people from the cryptoverse such as Gavin Andreson, Brian Armstong, and Vitalik Buterin, among others.
The docudrama revolves around a guy named Dan who is a computer programmer. He discovers Bitcoin and becomes engrossed in the world of blockchain and cryptocurrencies. It builds further by sharing the stories of real people who built this digital, financial universe, the mining market and various political and social viewpoints regarding this digital ecosystem.
The Bitcoin Story
The documentary stars Gavin Andreson, yet again, Peter Vessens and C. Bennett Hoffman. It was made by Jason Media in 2015. In a 35 minute runtime, various people explain the creation of Bitcoin, the technology behind it and its role in the future of finance.

Life on Bitcoin
The movie is a glimpse of how the world would be if you live on Bitcoin completely. A newlywed couple decides to experiment by paying for everything with cryptocurrency. The idea is something we have all thought of so it would be a good idea to see what life lived on cryptocurrencies would be.
The social experiment lasted for 100 days and is captured in the 96-minute film.
Banking on Bitcoin
The good news is that this is available on Netflix. The independent film tells the story of Bitcoin since its inception. It narrates the life of Bitcoin; explaining how and why cryptocurrency was created and the technology behind it.
With it, the director Christopher Cannucciari sheds light on the future of BTC and how it may change the world.
